            Not necessarily, I've seen freshmen taking Earth Science and Bio Sophomore Year. Not saying that includes me, I'm in Physics.

                there is no national or world standard on when highschool students take bio or the other sciences. it varies between schools.

                ...that said, i think having it as a freshman class is dumb because most good bio class would require a fair amount of chem knowledge. at the very least, chem should be before bio but not everyone agrees with me so even that isn't consistent.

                                                            our school goes like (well, its 90% asian.)
                                                            Freshmen: Biology Honors
                                                            Sophomore: Chemistry Honors or AP Chemistry or Physics Honors
                                                            Junior: AP Chemistry or AP Biology or AP Physics C
                                                            Senior: repeat above but a different class

                                                            normal biology is so fuccen easy.
                                                            im taking ap biology right now.. and it's pretty damn hard.

                                                            not to mention ap calc bc, apcs A, ap psychology, ap lang/comp, apush and ap physics c..
