to qualify you should pass all kind of challenges, so i'd say a jacking song, a song with fast and numerous coored notes, a song with extreme jumpstream/handstream, a song with really fast streams, and of course an MA song. few songs that would cover pretty much any major stepmania skill

example of qualifier songlist:

Luna Clock (zaghurim) - colored notes
The Night When The Country East You Cannot Sleep (yesssss) - jacking, MA
Azul (necros) - jumpstream
True Born Junglist (bluemystic) - rough speed
