Played a few more of the songs. Holy crap they are hard.

I looked in the initial post and it says Fail Off is allowed. So if I turn Fail Off on, but still "fail", can I send in my score anyway?

Yeah, and he said to do that if you know you can't pass it. That way you at least get some points for your MA.

Example: I fail a song, but AAAA almost all else.

Mostly because the last 64 notes happen to be 64th megajacks at 1200 bpm, pretty unpassable amirite?

Well, I'd still get credit for what I could manage, as long as I SS'd it and sent it according to protocol. It'd be a damn nice score, but just because you see that big red E for your rank doesn't mean the MA won't count.

Also, Cruel Whole is basically jacks at 165bpm. It's a sick stepfile though.

I debated on putting Reincarnation in, but that's just too cruel. At least Data Drain is feasible because your score will be pretty representative of where it got too fast for you to keep up.

actually machine score, maybe even actual score means nothing at all cuz some people are still able to hit a good amount of the arrows at the higher bpms even though they fail, while others completely crash and hit nearly nothing or get a boo/goodrush

Once you get to the point where you can't handle the speed (at all), if you're not mashing then than either you ran out of stamina or you don't have any idea of how to score well.

I do agree on the machine score 100% though.

So, this thing is startin pretty soon

I'll put the song choices and all that info up sometime on Monday. It's pretty dependant on when I sleep / go to work, so it might be early, it might be late, Idk. If I don't update things right away don't start screaming 'omg did he foarget?!?'.

By the way thanks for the info on Data drain. Hey at least we don't have to play songs like one minute on 1.5 times rate (and that big F U goes to no one other then wookE. That munch.)
