Seeds are used to make "opponent versus opponent"-style tournaments more fair. If the best and 2nd best players face off immediately, the 2nd best will appear to be one of the worse.
The tournament host will place seeded players as far apart as possible to give the better players a chance to make it farther.
Holy hell, I made it to round 7? I was getting so damn frustrated with BF it was driving me insane.
Sweet though

What aggravates me is that I know damn well I can get a 3 on it, I've gotten all the way to the stream with at best a 2 one time and just messed up a pattern. Since that time I was in a messed up mental state.

i still believe that for the future, being banned = auto DQ from tournament.... those who can't follow the rules shouldn't get any kind of bonus in return from the site.
Plus it can be very annoying sometimes not knowing what their username they're going to use to play the song is, so it can be difficult to tell what the best score they've gotten so far is, so I agree with tass. Plus Blazze has ban evaded so much that I too thought "Blazze," was Blazze.

Will use this rule next tourney, along with FAR more strict rules against multi use.
4th Official FFR Tournament - Master division champion!
So how do you get a seed next to your name? Is this just the hosts guess of who's going to win?
(P.S. Jtehanonymous is about to lose)
No. The players who are seeded in beginner are only those who AAA'd the first song of the tourny. The seed is based off of the players level ranks on certain songs that Shash picked. You cannot be seeded if you arent already.
