//edit:
Yeah, Boss Machine is definitely off-sync ... I felt like playing it while listening and played for about 150 arrows until I thought it was ridiculous enough to stop. I believe I ended up with 120-something goods and 20-something perfects. Hah ... definitely off-sync.
I AAA'd it second try. I don't understand how less than half a beat off can screw so many of you up so badly.
Anyway: If I lose this tourney, and do not finish top 8, I will AAA 65 songs over this break. I PROMISE. (I'm kinda starting to get nervous. Megmo is catching up slowly...)
Xception, have you ever tried dancing it with the sound off? It didn't REALLY work for me, but apparently it's helping a lot of people. What DID help me was a little screencutting, and I think this is why:
I have played many songs before only once that I have yet to reach a higher score on since (until I memorized most parts XD). I feel this is because you dance better when you rely on instinct. I say, you can achieve really good scores by:
1)Pure instinct. Not knowing what comes up next keeps you more alert.
2)Memorizing. It makes the song predictable, boring, and less fun, but better scores
Your choice... and I'll give you 500 credits if you can AAA it. Honest!
I do play by ear, that's why it didn't work XD. Actually, I think it COULD work if you cared enough to learn the song by heart (I can hum the whole freakin' thing, swear to God), turn the sound off, and make your own soundtrack! That is, if you have A LOT of give-a-damn.
