So, I posted my first scores on January 9th. I showed the thread to Zagh tonight and he was commenting on them as if they were recent. I told them they were from January 9th.

He basically summed it up for me. I haven't got **** all better in so many months and basically it's just getting to the point where it's no fun at all and it's just a constant source of stress. Having a five month skill plateau where there's almost no improvement is just so frustrating. I tried changing around some ****, but that didn't do much. I got my accuracy back after changing CMODS... and I started to fail the hard songs that I could do better. I quit. This is bull****. How the **** you people can do what you do is beyond me. I played one, maybe two hours a day and I hardly improved at all. I'd occasionally get one or two scores that really stood out but I'd just be stuck at the same damned skill level overall, as everyone who was as good as me quickly got far past me. I can't stand being so bad at something for so long, so I quit. **** this game. I deleted it, save for the songs folder because I'm too lazy to pull some of the stuff out and fix my playlist. Besides, I might want to revisit it sometime in the future, I dunno.

daym son, jus chill on the SM. i had a plateau myself after the whole quasar 1.9 crap. i basically quit for like a good month or 2. upon returning i played and actually improved. i was actually able to do quasar 2.0.

just take a nice break, dont play when you're frustrated with SM...play when you're relaxed and able to enjoy yourself, thats when you'll get the best scores and enjoy the game the most.

kles i haven't gotten any better in a year lol, and stepmania is probably the least of your problems, you shouldn't worry about this game, life is more important.

And I know, I know. SM is totally unimportant.

But it just pisses me off that how everyone around me is getting better, even those who are so much better than me, at anything. Which is why I haven't got really pissed off at Mario Kart yet. EVERYONE AROUND ME GETS THEIR ASS KICKED BY ME. That and I always show quite steady improvement. With this... almost nothing. I just don't get it. I tried **** Glove told me and it helped... a day? Then I'd go back to whatever even though I'd stick to his advice. It's just ****ing retarded, and again, it's just serving as a thing to cause more stress, so I'm done.

my skill went stagnant earlier in the year and i was about to quit but i broke it last month after 3 months of nothing improving

I believe you were at the same level I was when I first posted my scores.

Nice to see I kept up no I didn't.

I'll return in summer (WHICH BY THE WAY IS IN A MONTH )when I'm not as stressed out about my schooling, that's probably best for me to play again. And I'll use the default theme rofl.
