Why I will never be good at Stepmania

I have a major problem most of you don't have, I'm somewhat ambidextrous.

Some of you may say, oh, isn't that a good thing? No, it's not. Let me tell you why.

My hands are somewhat ambidextrous in the sense I use both hands for different things. Example, I write with my right hand, yet I throw and catch with my left hand. This creates a really big problem for me, and the problem it has created SM-related is the fact my left hand is MUCH faster than my right, leaving them both very hard to coordinate together. It makes simfiles like Club, jump-stream happy sims, and anything with a lot of jumps in it very very hard for me. Therefore, I have very limited abilities when it comes to Stepmania. im right handed but my left arm is stronger then my right one. everything on the left side of me is bigger too. fingers feet hands. its weird

I write, throw, shoot with my right hand. Swinging a baseball bat, using a hockey stick, and the like I'm better with my left hand. I think it's because I grabbed a baseball bat when I was a little kid left-handed for some reason and got used to it. It makes me sweet at tennis, though.

I'm way faster in my right hand, but I still have little trouble playing. I don't see what the problem is :X
Except maybe right hand would be too slow or something, but coordination?

Uh put things on mirror then since most files favor right handed players? I don't know?

I fail too see what your problem is, most people have dominant hand which is faster. All you gotta do is practice more for weaker hand to catch up.

I'm the same exact way. Eat/write righty, throw lefty. I don't have any problems. Stop making excuses and practice practice practice

Maybe using my setup would help. You probably play left index down, left middle left, right index up, and right middle right, correct?

I don't play this way. I play left middle up, left index left, right index down, and right middle right. I'm ambidexterous in the same way you are. I tried playing this way and found myself getting faster and faster.

Get used to it and see what happens.

Left handed jacks are my nemesis. Especially left arrow ones, I have to jack with my middle finger. There are some exceptions though when I can use my left index which is a little faster, but it's hard when there's an up arrow going to a left arrow jack or a left arrow jack ending in an up arrow cause I have to double step.

I throw, write, etc. with my left hand, but i swing righty

Right hand: write, throw, use for smalltime things.

Left hand: catch, throw first punch, block, heavy lifting, extreme balance.

Damnit when I play for kogepan i do the jacks with my right hand =(
