I screwed around with Distant today, it helped on some songs, killed me on others. I guess I just have to get used to it. Got two decent scores, an 85.66 on Infection which I could greatly improve if I could figure out the rhythms in the middle; and a 91.3 on VerTex which I'm going to call a 92 since my CF double-registered the **** out of one of the runs in the middle, giving me 4 or 5 Way Offs. I think it's time to give my pad a cleaning.

Yeah wish I could play itg lol. I use to be pretty good i beat every song but ehh =/ Freakin Ernie/Flip you should come pick me up sometime dude.

I fell in love with my pad last week, so I decided to get ITG for the PC because up until now I've only been playing DDR sims on SM (been playing pad for about a month). This is my progress:

It's a generic GameStop Xbox pad that I modded for USB usage. I also took these wooden boards (harder than cardboard, but not quite wood), cut squares and taped them under the pad with (rofl) electrical tape.

Works for me!

I basically duct tape my Cobalt Flux to the carpet to keep it from sliding lol

I went to the arcade today and got some decent scores. 97.11 FC on Hand of Time (I could probably ** but some kid picked the ending slowdown as the time to beat as loudly as he could on the drumming game and I got like 5 greats in a row), 97.33 on D-Code FC, 99.15 on The Beginning Hard (second ***), 98.5x on Robotix hard (I got a couple dumb greats so I could probably ***), slight improvement on !, FC on Summer in Belize (but really terrible FA, like a 93% or something because I tried it on 4x distant, it helped my combo but killed my timing), and passed some new 11s.

I also played doubles (the machine has joint premium on) and passed a couple of 7s, which isn't bad for my 4th time playing doubles. I did manage to fall off the pad though lol
