Yeah I played through both charts on SM index yesterday. I could tell that Tell would be much easier for me (although I AAAed HotN lol) because while I'm not very good at stepjumps I'm much worse at 170bpm 24th trills.

If you're just going for a pass, conserve your energy.

Hit the step step jump as 2 jumps instead. Makes it way easier to pass =P

I play it as a quick 32nd triple (taking advantage of jumps registering the last arrow hit). I really can't jack at all, I have to think of it as a fast trill or else I start playing it like FFR and hitting everything hella early and then I start miss streaming lol

finally passed this sim yay *\o/* i fell over breathing heavily after i passed


its like constant 140bpm stream and then the end is short burts of 16th streams with a jump on the last note of the burst its quite tricky

Never played it, but here's a new as the rush comes score for you... Wasn't even tired at the end, so I think I can SDE it =P
I haven't played in over a week though, so I hope my stamina hasn't dropped or anything =\

Nice.

I attempted HotN and Tell a few times each. I actually came closer to pass HotN than I did Tell. Tell's stepjumps really drain me stamina-wise, while HotN isn't too difficult for me except for the 170bpm 24ths (the rest of the 24ths don't bother me so much).

I just need to work on jack speed it seems. Stream is getting pretty easy for me. I'll try it again tomorrow probably, I'm a little hung over now lol

Like I said before, if you're going to play tell for a first pass, hit the step step jump as jump jump. That way you don't have to worry about jack speed.

So hit the 8th note 8th note 16th note as 8th jump 8th jump instead :P

You'll see what I mean, try it out next time you play it, and I guarantee Tell will be a bajillion times easier =P

lol i played random stuff on the pad i built today. passed three 11's in a row: infection, utopia, destiny. then after i played like 2 9's and passed tell. funny that my tell pass was higher % then all my 11 passes



and this lol. pa was rely random good

default itg2pc timing, life 5 tho to kinda match the arcade which is probly closer to 6

passed harcore symphony too like 70ish. fc'd the 2nd to last stream haha. i can probly pass charlene now at the arcade dunno cuz it depends on how crappy the pads are still. maybe i can do all of them =P

arcade is life 4. And I actually tied for PR#1 there, but the actual PR#1 (since PR's are different on each USB card) would be some sorta SDE that Kelly has =\
And yeah, send me that file, I'm always looking for reasons to go play ITG again, lol

i made mostly a comparison to easy it is to survive on at home stuff compared to arcade. l5 at home feels a ton easier than at the arcade. dunno tho maybe ill find a hawaii arcade =D

samt0rx how long have you been playing pad stuff? Cause after seeing your sm stuff I thought you could be really good but nice job if you're still learning. You'll get your stamina up eventually.

Uhhh since I never post in this thread I'll just contribute with a score a while ago 96.3 on OWA :P. I'm just not playing ITG much since I'm too lazy to bus that far and sticking with DDR even though it's not as fun.

played tell and got like a 77% but i know i could do better since i had just played a file with 900 steps twice in a row and i was half assing it cause imo the file is a piece of crap
