Oh come on. If you don't turn them on you can't see how well you're improving. Turn them on, use judge 5 and just go for it. The reason for judge 5 is so that when you want to play normal judge 4, your timing will be alot better. Go to judge 6 if you want a better increase in you MA.

My method of making love is quite different than you might expect. I prefer to find a girl taking a nap at the local preschool, and then make love to them as they scream in my large, sound-proofed, white van. I then make love on their face, and throw them in an ice-chest of bleach. For pillow talk, I usually say, "Your parents can't hear you," and keep their teddy bear as a momento. You could call me a hopeless romantic, I guess.
Actually it makes 100%. Playing judge 5 makes it a little harder to get MA. When going back to judge 4 it's easier, and you hit the notes MA more often(or PA depends on who it is.)

I think it works the same way as if you'd play on judge 4, it's just the more times you play the song, the more you're used to the steps, and your timing would most likely improve from that.

I dont think that helps out timing as much as playing a higher judge. Playing a song over and over again helps you get the steps right, as in get the patterns down. Your timing may be messed up still. But, when playing a higher Judge for practice use, and then going down back to 4 (default, what everyone should use/ does use) your timing is more accurate because you're used to trying to hit arrows with more accuracy, thus making your score alot better.

lol toshx. just keep trying. after a while, go back down to judge 4, and you'll see a little improvement. maybe.
The sad thing is the great count, because on Judge 4 I could AAA it. I'm a bit pressured and I expect myself to do worse on 5, so I'm sure if I focus and know it isn't that much harder, I'll be able to SDG it every time.
After a while, go back to 4, and see how well you do. You prolly wont do so well on the first try back on J4, but do it a couple times and you'll be like "holy crap"...well at least i was.
edit:
I just played it Judge 4 after being on Judge 5 for a while:
I'm staying pretty static at 50 greats and a good MA versus before. I guess I just have to get rid of this pressure of it being harder and intimidating first.
Just posted a screenie of J4 after a few J5 of quasar. Your MA is increasing, gettin better. Your GA is gettin worse. lol. I dunno, maybe theres some patterns that mess you up in the song on J5.
edit:...you notice we're the only ones posting here...lol?...
