I decided to tally up the number of official downloads of my simfiles

My simfiles have been downloaded a total of : 19280 times

19280 downloads folks. Thanks to those 19280 people ;D

THIS NUMBER DOES NOT INCLUDE SIMFILES HOSTED BY ME, NOR DOES IT INCLUDE ANY OF MY OLDER SIMFILE DOWNLOADS OR DOWNLOADS ON THE OLD BEMANISTYLE

You'd see 25000+ if I were to add those.

But yea...i really don't know how good that is, but atleast I feel somewhat important as a stepfile author XD

Yea, almost 30 official sims.

And I think it was first samurai, with about 1200 downloads on ffr. FFR+Bemani...I don't know.

Well, your sims are awesome, so that is to be expected.

You should keep making them, and not let some people who flame everything you make for no real reason get to you.

EDIT: My Reach folder has 41 songs in it. I think thats everything from the old BMS to now.

Yea...alot of those sims would have counted more, and I know things like all around the world and club had over 1000 dl's on the old bemani. Oh well.

hey linus... or reach... could i get some of those older Reach files? i have AAtW 1 and 2... but the others you listed i don't have... and i'm a very big fan of your stepfiles reach. you're definately the best all-around stepfile maker IMO.

People getting to me has nothing to do with me quitting. I stopped for a completely different reason/reasons. Something more personal and a technical issue.

I can't say you'll never see another stepfile from me...but its unlikely. I was pretty impressed with the downloads though O_O I can't really think of any authors that can top 20000 downloads aside from maybe a few.

haha... ones i could think of, maybe... eggman, BMR, Skor, aperson.... eggman because he's been around for a long time making files and has made ALOT of files hosted on the early BMS and rehosted to the new BMS.... BMR cause he is the originator of challenging keyboard steps.... Skor because although he doesn't have many files, his files are all old and all very good.... aperson has a bunch of files that are for the most part good, solid files. some i like more than others, but i know that an aperson file is a solid file.
