See, this is where you run into a problem, because I'm not sure what you should base it on. If it's pure MA than Arch0wl would probably be second (or close). If we're talking about the elite and semi-elite players then you should probably be basing it off the highest scores off the hardest songs. (not to say 6 Perfects on Will O' The Wisp isn't impressive, I'm just not sure how much relevancy it has)

We should pick like, 20 songs, everyone plays, and posts screens of, then by who beats who at the songs, we determin the top 20.

Yeah, but wait a minute....here, I actually think this is a really good idea:

Let's say that on the board you have to play five different songs:

FOTBB
VITA
Gaussian Blur
ASB
Caprice

And say as a one hander you are severely disadvantaged at Caprice, but excel at ASB more than most people. You could make each song worth more than the other, for instance...

FOTBB-3
VITA-2
Gaussian Blur-4
ASB-5
Caprice-1

So each song is weighted at a different multiple based on the player's choice. It'd be like a report card where Science is worth twice as much as Home Ec (x2) and English is weighted three times as more as Home Ec (x2)....except you'd be free to switch it around yourself to suit your playing style.

It's simple, all you have to do is mulitply your scores by the chosen multiple, and then add it all together.

I now use Judge 6, because it is far better than Judge 4. On Judge 4 marvs are all you get. On Judge 6, you actually have to be onbeat to get Marvs.

Oh, and a file shouldn't be biased towards ANY style of play.

Aye, if it was going to be picked songs I'd say let Arch0wl pick 'em.
He makes good simfiles, plus he plays indexes.. about inbetween one-handed and 4-fingered.
But you know what, just basing scores off of 20 scores isn't enough. Some people are far better at some things then others. Take my SDG FC on Caprice for example. banditcom can't do that, but he owns me on Snow (best being 31 greats and a miss, grr). So it wouldn't work.

Just make a "Stepmania Contest" here. No prizes, but everyone gets to be ranked thats in it. But it would be FFR wide, so info on the front page about it. Then we would need helpers and other things..
