Brag Board Guidelines (read before posting)

Just a few things to make your expirence on the brag board.. a nice, pleasent expirence.


Do not post screen's of FFR Originals on SM:
The only one that isnt a FFR exclusive is 4F73R M3.

NO SCREENSHOTS OVER 800X600
We cannot stress this enough. If your screen shot is over 800x600. It will be deleted, and a PM will be sent.. telling you to resize.

Do not ask for songs in topics, nor just say "Go for the AAA", try to keep one sentence congratulations to a minumum
You have to add a valuable comment.. or it may be deleted.

Do not post scores that are obviously fake
Just dont... it will be deleted

Please follow these few rules, and you will be fine. You may brag about any medium here... FFR, SM, DWI, ect.

Also, I would just like to add that you can post brags without Screenshots, but we highly suggest you do, because many people won't belive you without it

about the FFR originals: what about things that are posted in the simfiles sections of this website? i got a couple uber raves and Party 4U off of here, and those are intended for stepmania, arent they? or by FFR exclusives do you mean the song AND the steps are the same? because in Party 4U the steps are totally different. so, if i were to post a score for that song, would i get in trouble?

I know of two sites where one can download both Hyro's Uber Rave and Hyro's Caprice. One of those sites appears to be his own.

It is time that a decision was made on whether or not it is ok to post scores for those two sims.

What would NOT be okay is posting Stepmania screenshots of Pwnd! or Rondo or Terror From Beyond....like songs that have always been stictly FFR.

And no, Caprice and Uber Rave are not. Hyro doesn't have some site that he hosts them on. Yeah there's a tripod site, but did he ever really "release" that site or put it in his profile or make a topic about it?

Actually rather than arguing about those two it'd be best to contact hyro about it on AIM at HyrogashiDefault.

You know what? I've been working my ass off to pass Revolutionary Etude on Stepmania. When I do, I'm going to post that screenshot on FFR.

It's amazing, actually, if you stop to think about it. You released a simfile into the Stepmania community...months later you unrelease it, and then proceed to tell everyone that it's "FFR exclusive", evidently trying to pretend that it never existed in the first place. Then you forbid anyone to distribute that file or post screenshots of it on a site that you don't even own.

Can you honestly say that makes sense?

Okay then, now that I've calmed down (lol)...

Don't know what I was so riled up about in the first place. It's four fucking stepfiles, ha ha...ah, whatever. I think it might be the fact that all of Arch0wl's "non-existent" stepfiles are all really difficult (Payons, FOTBBs, Blur)...and that might be the allure to post screenshots of them when I pass them or get good scores.

Obviously, I think Synthlight's rule is retarded, and yes, I have a problem with it. But I'll live with it, I suppose...I can even respect Arch0wl enough ( what?) to not post Payon/Blur...until I AA Payon, that is. :P
