Quite frankly, these contests are complete bogus. The best photos have like 2 or 3 votes. Why should i vote for yours if it's not the best?

I know exactly what you mean. It is more of a popularity contest, sadly, so I agree with you. In all honesty though I would most likely only have 2 or 3 votes as-well if I did not make this thread. So once again, thank you all for the support. Much appreciated! Now I can understand if you do not think my entree is the best. I honestly do not think it is either only because I cannot make such judgements. Every photograph is a piece of artwork, distinguishing which is better or worse can only be sought through ones own perspective.

Think about it, any of these contestants could go out into the world asking random people to vote. (In a sense this is what I am doing.) You cannot just upload your photograph then simply be done with it. Expecting random people to vote for you would be a gamble.
