Having them near the top is pretty handy. B) Newbie forum should take priority. We want people to join the forums, not not ever come back because they couldn't find the forum to introduce themselves in. Everything before hand was sort of squished. C) There were 30+ forums beforehand. Things were squished. D) Some forums were inactive/far less popular than others, so they were removed. One thing I want Tass to do is include what subforums there are in each forum in the forum description. That would clarify things a bit for users who are not used to this style yet.
