New Difficulty System Name Suggestions.
Hi there~
As some people may be aware, there has been a new difficulty system developing in the background and it should (hopefully) be in place as early as mid next week! One of the less important challenges has been creating titles for each difficulty while maintaining unique acronyms for each.
What I would like to do is take suggestions from players regarding the final names of these difficulties. So head on over to the thread and let me know what you’d like to see changed/kept, thoughts both ways are important. Be sure to read the first post, as I will be disregarding suggestions that do not follow suit.

Dang, changing the difficulty system like this might create confusion, might wanna let users change to normal and new versions…

Why does anything beyond “For Gurus Only” even need to exist? Does anyone actually play those more than once?

only thing i don’t like about songs that difficult is mashing gets me a better score than playing :/ faulty scoring system values combo’s way more than accuracy.

This is true but since this applies to everyone it is a fair system. You will eventually get to the point where if you can fc a guru song without mashing your avg rank will lower by other means as well. I agree we could have a better scoring system then combo scoring but I think it is still decent and we should just try not to focus so much on scoring on high files and instead focus on getting better, then the high scores will come.

username, everything will be spread out. a current 9 will be a 12 or something like that. so 13-20 doesn’t mean all harder than current FGOs

The game should be more geared toward being fun to play than challenging, but should still incorporate both fun and challenging songs and steps.

Index players can not obtain good scores on songs with hands because only two arrow key presses will register at once on most keyboards.
Hands should be optional in settings for this reason.

The system is fine IMO.
Level 13 should read “Insane” though.
