Ignoring the argument just to post something relevant to the event.

It’s good to see FFR and TS working together, hopefully it stays this way, don’t want any more unnecessary rivalry.

Also, the stepfile of this song is fucking excellent AJ, good job. The pattern placement captures the song’s elements very well.

I see FFR and TS as pretty much the same thing. If one has the better simfile or song, I’ll play that one first. I don’t care which game gets the better song- but this is coming from someone who doesn’t give a crap about GTS and AAAing errything so your opinion might be different.

Two games with two different ways of charting and playing.

While you can be a little more expressive on thirdstyle with using holds and what not you forget that chart quality is always in the eyes of the beerholder (arrow smasher.)

Personally I’m happy that the sites are collaborating. It’s nice to know despite the differences between us we can still work together and try to keep the arrowsmashing scene alive.

Now when it comes to personal opinions as to the engines… I prefer FFR’s every day of the week. But if you asked me which site had a better community? I’d have to answer Third Style. To each their own I guess. I’m excited to see the next chart we get

I’m a member of both communities. When I play I have a tab open for FFR and TS, they are equally amazing rhythm games. It is true that TS has gotten better songs, but hey, FFR has already lived through a crash that would have destroyed any other online community. I cant say that the people on here are the same as before, (some of you guys are jerks) but we all love the same thing, no matter what package it comes in! SO learn some patience, it’s not like you have to pay for any of this.

I think we are losing sight of what both sites are really about. Enjoy the rhythm gaming experience. Stepfile artists and admins work their behinds off to make the sites enjoyable, no need to argue over silly aspects that don’t really matter.

It’s really nice to have two rivaling communities work together to make an event happen for both sides of the field. Please don’t let that rivalry stir up the drama and jeopardize the event from happening in the future. Comments like “they get better music/files” is completely ignorant to the work many simfilers on FFR tried to put through, and even if the files are “not fun” these days, at least respect that there are some fun files on FFR in the past. Cmon guys. Appreciate what you have and stop being jealous about everything.
