Boost ALL the bass!Today we have a very special set of new levels:
Longtime FFR user zajac‘s label Low Pass Records is releasing their album, the LPR001 Compilation LP, today. What’s more, FFR has been granted blanket permission to use songs off his label in the game… and what better way to celebrate the release of a new album here on FFR than to step the songs!

The selection of files is on the easier end, so that everyone who wishes to can have the chance to smash some keys to the sexy bass on these tracks.

Big Dog by Myth Of Unity (TC_Halogen) – Hip-Hop / Very Difficult / 2:07
Break Your Neck by Myth Of Unity (who_cares973) – Dance / Difficult / 2:20
I Am Robot by Crimes! (hi19hi19) – Dance / Standard / 1:51

Those who follow the FFR community closely might notice that Milla, artist of Tron From Hell, is actually well-known FFR user midnghtraver. Other artists on the LP also originated right here on FFR- if you’re looking to show off your own music, or get some tips from artists such as these, look no further than FFR’s Musician’s Jungle Gym forum.

But wait, that’s not it! LPR001 has come out today, but there’s more in store- LPR002 will be out February 9th, and LPR003 will be released on February 23rd. So get hyped for more good music to come!

  5. best release everrrr

  6. Hmm I guess no one told you. Halo nova no longer goes by that name he’s now known as varien so you might want to make note of that

  7. nathan finally a R1 music producer ;)

  8. <3

  9. Oh by the way. All of you, go buy it :3

  10. @ Who_cares973 – Halo Nova (Nick) is actually a very good friend of mine here in Tampa, and YES, he now goes by Varien (as can be heard on Skrillex’s latest EP), but he’s honored me with the chance to release the very last Halo Nova track on Low Pass Records to help show some support :-) …So no, crediting him as Halo Nova is not incorrect.

  11. Artist links don’t work. Just saying.

  12. And actually, Big Dog is from LPR002, so enjoy the early preview before the Myth Of Unity EP drops on Feb. 8th :-)

  13. “You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.”

    ?????????

  14. I’m never gonna stop being a game whore if this game keeps getting better

  15. Such a good release! my favorites are big dog and break your neck. Songs like these will lure new players!!

  16. Awesomesauce

  17. YES! I’ve been waiting for some more dubstep! These songs are all equally epic, and stepped brilliantly.

  18. Just a suggestion, but you really should add up file descriptions on the frontpage posts like before. These made the posts awesome.

    Anyone with me?

  19. I’ve been told that file descriptions gets too technical in terminology for a front page post and might turn off newer users. There were file descriptions for the tournament songs under the reasoning that anyone in the tournament would be a little more interested in the technical side of the files they were playing… It’s definitely something I could do for the weekly releases but people seem to be of mixed opinion about it.

  20. You could just make descriptions that describe the song itself (“relaxed feel”, “energetic like 90s techno”, “ambient music”, etc.) and the file in a general way (“tricky”, “syncopated”, “straightforward”, “fast and fluid”) as opposed to being technical about it (“high amounts of 16th trills”, “tricky hands and jacks”, “24ths and staircases”).

  21. wait theres a 9 in dance1?

  22. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
these songs gave me a slightly immense orgasmic sensation.

  23. Great release!

  24. All these songs are just superb eye-openers!

    nice hot dubstep.
And my name is Bodie that’s the only other Bodie

Many thanks to, Myth Of Unity, Crimes!, Halo Nova & Sidedraft, Decibel Nation, and Milla for bringing us these Gnarly songs!
And to TC_Halogen, who_cares973, and hi19hi19 for the great stepfiles!

And to the rest of the artists/dj’s I didn’t mention, thank you all as well!

Keep doing what you do! And thanks again for all your hard work!
