Giving Thanks at FFR
It’s sometimes easy to forget that the staff of FFR are real people too. None of the staff is paid- this site is a labor of love, so to speak.
And while the spirit of Thanksgiving is still in the air, I’d like to ask you to take a moment and just appreciate all the work the staff here on this site does. Remember that a little more than a year ago this site didn’t even exist- we have come a long way since then, and the entire time these individuals have been working, largely behind the scenes, to make sure the site and the game can keep up with the rebuilding of the community. Drop one of these staff members a friendly comment on their profile, or send them a nice PM- that little extra encouragement will probably be appreciated more than you can imagine.
Additionally, take a moment to thank the music producers and simfile authors on the site. Together they spend enormous amounts of time making the levels in FFR as enjoyable as possible.
Finally, take a moment to thank yourself as well- FFR would not be what it is now if it weren’t for a dedicated and enthusiastic userbase!
Here’s to many more years of memories on this site.

It still blows me away how this site is still able to run 100% free of charge with volunteer staff and no advertisements. It’s not something that should be taken for granted. Thank you to each and every one of the FFR staff!

I just had a nostalgia all over the place.
but for real though. this gen of staff is just as productive if not more then the staff when I first joined. Everything you guys do is for us, and with that I appreciate the time effort and money spent to run this home we call FFR. thanks staff!!!

A few of you have spent countless hours trying to keep this place afloat and there are a lot of FFR members who appreciate that, regardless of the occasional snide/rude person who tries to deny it.

While I feel like my time is running thin as an active FFR user, I’m hoping that those who are taking time out of their day to keep the users constantly interested in the game make things continue to happen. The Photo Hunt, the Week of Trick or Treat, and now the 6th Official Tournament…let’s hope that the people responsible for these events continue to work and keep more users interested.

I practically grew up on this site, made many friends and broken two keyboards. I leave but then come back because I love the game.
Thanks to the staff and everyone else who actually takes the time to build our community here. With all the dedication and hard work without [almost] anything in return, I REALLY appreciate it.

FFR, Your hard work and commitment towards keeping this site going is much appreciated. On a similar note, I have decided to do something nice for members of the FFR community by giving away credits. Thank you to all of you individuals who make this wonderful game possible. Thank you to the step-file artists, the musicians, the coders, and the other staff that keep everything running. Thank you for keeping it free! Thank you SOOOOO much for BRINGING FFR BACK! when the site crashed i was concerned that I had wasted a significant chunk of my life, but now that its back, I’m HAVING TOO MUCH FUN TO WORRY ABOUT IT!
