Don't forget to press the "Set speed" button on the top of the options menu. I know that's for the speed mod, but apparently it's also the button you use to set your offset. So after setting an offset (e.g. -1), press the "Set speed" button to solidify your offset choice. Also, just experiment to find out if the song syncs for you. Don't need to wait for a list...the offsets are different from computer to computer.

You can set it to positive or negative integer values, but I'm still waiting for someone to make a list of which songs need it and which do not.

I know of one song, but it's a skill token. Didn't work for me very well. Instead, I just muted the sound. Made my life a lot easier.
