I've jumped back on, but not for the sake of the game. Playing it competitively, in my honest opinion, seems impossible for me now.

So, aside from that, if anyone wants to start a conversation on here with me, that would be nice. As a side note, if you enjoy theological and Philosophical discussions, then you're in luck. I enjoy that area of thought and may have some interesting replies to your conversation topics and or questions.

  1. Oh, long time no see. The one million dollar question would be if FFR influenced your life or vice versa and if you got something out of it ignoring the competitive aspect.

  2. Hey, what's up? Concerning your question, I would say I think it did. The game gave me a sense of achievement, and perhaps meaning, that I don't think I'd have come by in my teen years any other way. It was always something fun to do, and it made me feel like I was on top of the world at times when I'd accomplish something. That feeling really helped me get through some times in my life, no matter how insane and up a wall it drove me to get there. Though, looking at it now, I find that kind of sad. But, it was still something that helped.
I would also say that the game definitely messed with my taste in music. Some of the songs, and the bands that produced them, I still enjoy until this day. I'd always heard that your musical tastes as a teen are the foundations of what you will listen to for the rest of your life. This seems to be true, considering I get some weird looks when people find out half the stuff I listen to.
As for your last question, I would say that the game

  3. Hahaha, I just realized there is a 1000 character limit for a post. Going on from my last comment, I would say the game gave me an opportunity to talk to some interesting people I wouldn't have otherwise. My main focus was on being competitive. But, when I wasn't, I remember enjoying the personalities I found here.
So, what about you? How has it affected you?
