Japanese Language Proficiency Test

Yes, the JLPT. I've always been curious about it, like a lingering itch I wanted to scratch. I've finally gave in and decided to give it a shot. I'm going for level 2, which isn't ridiculously hard (level 1 uses some pretty hardcore grammar that even some Japanese people don't know..). The test is the 1st Sunday of December, which gives me about 100 days to tackle this biatch. This test is an official Japanese test, which I can use as a way to help prove my translation abilities if I want to take on freelance translation work for extra income. If I fail the test this year, since it's once I year I'll step it up a notch and go for full blown level 1. That's how we do it down here in hardcore :p
