Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back

OT time again I guess! No division 1 means no chance of any real accomplishment in finishing (14 people ahead of me in skill rating at the start, plus I'm sure several who'll pass me during) but it might be fun to go back to losing in round 3 like the old days. Just have to see if I can beat all my rivals from last time.

Round 1: 2-0-0-0
Round 2: AAA
Round 3: 10-0-0-0
Round 4: 28-1-3-9

Round 1 - Space Doggity - Definitely a song I could AAA, but at 3:27 it's just not worth farming it until I get a run without any distractions or little hiccups, and surely to god 2-0-0-0 is good enough for round 1, considering how many people don't even submit.

Please shorter songs in future rounds!

Round 2 - Last Summer - We went from a 19 to a 19, so at this stage we're probably AAA or die. Thankfully, knocking 30 or 40 seconds off made it relatively easy to AAA so at least I don't have to worry about whether a 2-0-0-0 or 1-0-0-0 would turn out to not be good enough.

I don't have much hope for high performance, I'm like, 15th or 16th by skill rating in the division, but we're hanging in there.

Round 3 - Kadinchey - Finally the skill jump that I was expecting in round 2, from a 19 up to a 38 which still put it easily in the very high score range for most of the field. Scores ended up similar to what the Division 1 scores were for round 3 last time around (when it capped at around 38 instead of 50ish)

Great song. I was immediately like "I get a Boy and Bear vibe from this and I'm not sure why" and in fact, it was the same artist. I guess 'strange sampled dialogue from things' is their pastiche? In any event, great song, great round.

Round 4 - Mario Overworld (Super Mario Remix) - Big jump number 2, from a 38 to a 50. This honestly doesn't feel like a 50 for me and I expect it will get moved down a little. Though I think I overperform on heavily syncopated songs on account of all those years as a jazz drummer. Maybe it is a 50 for people who don't swing.

This round was pretty rough and I had no expectation of advancing, but I managed to grind my way through into the top 12. Close fought battle for those last 2 spots, I dropped into elimination I think 3 times during this last like 12 hours of the round.
