MY LOVE

I turn the corner,
and I see you there.
I brush my clothes
and fix my hair.

My mind is going crazy,
and your walking straight my way.
my heart is beating faster as I think of something to say.

I look straight in his eyes,
and he looks back in mine.
my feet feel like they're stumbling,
but Im trying to walk in a line.

My mouth feels like a desert,
and I dont know what he'll say.
I cant even think of a letter,
but HE manages to say "hey".

A smile runs across my face,
and I return with "hi."
I wish we could connect more,
instead of passing eachother by.

So I continue walking,
as my heart feels like a dove.
I cannot wait until the day,
when I can call you "my love"
