I found out last night that Steve is gone.

I lost touch with him some time ago, and thought I should try to get back in touch with him because I realized I missed talking to him a lot.

I wrote some stupid thing on his Facebook, and got some comments about how insensitive I was or something. This confused me.

"Is he going through a hard time right now?? What's happening??"

And then I saw what happened.

And when it happened.

And I am still just... crying.

I've never lost a friend to death before, much less suicide.

As many of you know, today is his birthday.

Happy birthday lover. I miss you. And you live on in so many hearts... you slut.

I just hope you feel better now than you were when you did it... But Steve, you asshole, why didn't you ask for help?? So many people, myself included, would have done anything to help you. And now you're gone and none of us ever can and we can never even talk to you again or anything. And I just wish you wouldn't have done this...

I wanted to talk to you again. I miss you. We used to be close man. I wanted it back, and now I found out you're gone, and have been for a long time now...

And I was such a shitty friend that I'm only just now finding out. Please forgive me. I should never have stopped talking with you, because as it turns out, I only had so much time.
