Forbidden Storm
THIS IS MY POEM! You,yes you....YOU NO TAKEY! Got et?!?!?!? Good...enjoy
slowly,steadily a storm rolls in.
I hate to see them go,thrilled its back again

I hop out the car.arms stretched out,wanting to catch every drop of energy
I hardly even notice my mama yellin at me

she yells "go inside! stop playing around."
my heartbeat races as the rain hits the ground

I'm inside now and soaked to the bone
call up my friends and get on the phone

I wait til she's asleep and not awake
I planned this time for my escape

down the stairs and to the right
I caint see;its the dead of night

Tiptoe quickly to the door
slip and fall,shyt, I'm on the floor

one swift move and I'm in the storm,its lightning every 5 seconds
is my yearning to join this storm dangerous?even reckless?

Oh well,im not alone now
my feet find a rythm
the rain shows them how

its pouring down as I prance
arms bendin gently in their own unique dance

the thunder booms louder and I stay on my toes
where lightning will strike next nobody knows

in a matter of minutes my forbidden storm ends
the rain drops are gone,goodbye my friends

I shouldve heeded my mothers scold
because in the morning I have a cold

my rain drops are in the sky in their dorm
in the distance thunder booms,my next forbidden storm
