Two of a kind

Hanging onto what lies beneath,
Smiles linger of my disbelief.

No one will take you by the hand,
Desires left lifelessly bland.

Lingering ever through your soul,
I take upon thee this black hole.

Salvation and creation nigh,
Of what is to be your last cry.

Free your mind and believe in me,
For I hold you dearly you see.

As I now wake up in your mind,
We are one to hold and abide.


This poem is inspired by the song I Guess You’re Right by the group ‘’The Posies’’.
That and thinking of someone who is surnamed Shar.
