Black Birds

So, resently there has been an epidemic of black birds where I live. It's kinda creepy.
I saw a book the other day, called the Secret language of birds. So I looked up black brids and it said they symbolized Death and War.
I'm wondering if this has anything to do with anything. It's pretty weird.
