And the results came back to me the same as every year.
I didn't make it into the choir of my dreams...I guess I was just never good enough for that group. Maybe I was never good in the first place.
And this last chance at getting me into that choir and losing in the first round made me think...and it was the first time in my life that I ever thought of it.
It'd be hard for me to do, but...I'm thinking of just never singing again.
This competition meant a lot to me, it would have proved if I was cut out to be in the big leagues, and I lost.
This competition hurts real bad, to be shot down by judges that don't even see your face or know your name. It's like you family slapping you in the face and calling you ugly.
I'm still giving it thought, but if it comes down to it...I'm gonna recored the last song I will ever sing, and then shut my lips to tone till the day I die and even after.
