Another year, another OT. Whew it's been a while since I've properly played in a tournament, OWL was just the warm-up but THIS is the real deal now. Having high expectations for song releases this year just like any other, lots of charters must have cooked amazing files. As for placement, personally I don't really care, but I would love to get as high as possible considering how I've officially hit D8 between the last OT and this current one :^)

Round Thoughts:

Honestly, a solid first round! Oppiie cooked with Akazu, very excellent song selection too. I did get the very first AAA which I'm proud of teehee. File is really fun to play, rated nicely. B6 got a banger of a song as well!

Round Thoughts:

Showing PA in detailed overview makes me really want to go for best accuracy on each song. I felt like this round wasn't as difficult as the last one, the patterns for B7's file were pretty straightforward, although seemed repetitive and not that fun to hit, but oh well, at least the AAA was easy to get. The iconic song carried it all tbh

Round Thoughts:

Woah, round 3 and it already ramped up in difficulty that much?! Going from 102 to 106 is a HUGE jump, but justified since this tournament only has six rounds. As for the chart itself, DZ did a nice job on this. Didn't even realize we had hololive perms (which is huge)! I can't improve past a missflag, but that should be enough to get me to the next round.

Round Thoughts:

Well... This file's insanely brutal. I kinda lost motivation after a few attempts. Don't get me wrong, it's a great file, but for an OT song it just feels so exhausting to grind. I've settled on PBing it the best I can do and praying I don't get eliminated before going on vacation for a week.

Afterthoughts:

This journey came to an end, sadly. It was really fun competing with top players and spectating other lower brackets, though. I know I said I don't really care about placement but I feel slightly pissed for getting 9th instead of not pushing for top 8. Oh well, I believe next year will be the year I'll actually pop off :)
