Wow, I have a really bad habit of jumping into stuff like this with absolutely no practice. But hey, I'll give it my best shot.

R1: Jade Star (AAA)

Guess I haven't completely forgotten the fundamentals; the AAA only took me 3 tries. There were some bursts in there that tripped me up, but beyond those and some nerves, not too bad!

R2: Odin (AAA)

Started a bit late this week, but still managed an AAA in 10 or so tries. Overall a very comfy chart for me, though the jacks took a bit of getting used to. Nerves were a struggle as well, since the JS with minijacks at the very end make the chart feel slightly backloaded.

R3: Tired (5-2-1-2)

One of the downsides of coming back with so little practice is that you lose a lot of muscle memory. This chart was heavily frontloaded with rolls, which it seems I've completely forgotten how to do. Effectively, I mindblocked instantly and then spent a few hours practicing at lower speeds with not much luck. This round will have to go to a tiebreaker for me.

Tiebreaker: LOSE IT ALL (4-2-0-1)

Seems I can't escape rolls, huh? Luckily they were sparse enough here that I managed to snag an SDG, so it seems I'm moving on for now.

R4: Frozen One (18-1-1-2)

Uh oh, long file. That's gonna be a problem for sure. Seemed that each individual part of this chart would be fine for me, but the length just led to a bunch of tiny mistakes piling up. Could have been cleaner, but it was enough to move on.

R5: Ichirin (9-0-1-0)

Wow, close call. With less than 2 hours left, I was in 9th, and managed to jump back up to 5th, where I'm pretty sure I'm safe? File was a bit bursty, full of spots where I was scared I'd mindblock, but it seems like my main obstacle was the handstream at the very end of the chart. The minijacks were nowhere near as bad as I expected, just had to be very forceful and deliberate with them.
