regional music taste mentality

I have this mentality where I admit that Japan makes the best music in general; so when I listen to anything Japanese, I just say it's good and move. But when I listen to Western music that is just as good or above Japanese music, I'm impressed.

   I tend to listen to a lot of Slavic and Scandinavian music as well.
   though japan (and to some extent south korea)
   know how to make music.
