Roses are beautiful; full with soft smooth petals but also full with jagged untrusting thorns. Everything has love and hate qualities. but to love it, to hate it, to cherish it, or dismay it. To let it shine in the daylight, or to lock it, throw away the key and forget it. Why do we chose one but not the other to say about things. Why do we try to forget only the things we hate, and to keep close only the things we love? To love or to hate. It doesn't matter. I chose to keep close all the things I love and hate and not forget them, even if they hurt me. |
