What I Want To Be To You {poem}

I told you i want to be the last one to cross your head as you lay in bed,
I want you thinking of the worst of me and my thoughts of you and I,
my only fault being that you shouldn't think of me this way as being 'Pretty' and 'Gorgeus'.
I shouldn't want you gone already when we barely even started.
All i want is you,
so now i guess I'll have to believe you.
I told you to call me names to give you a kick,
but you refused and that didn't do it,
I asked for you to hit me as hard as you could,
but you said 'I wouldn't if i could.'
I told you to get me off your mind,
but you said you can't,
I beg for you to not say 'Beautiful' and 'Sexy' to me in the same line.
I've told you time and time again that I'm not close to perfection,
when you say 'In my eyes you are so much better than even my comprehension'
As you sleep at night I told you for me to be the last one that you think of at night,
but in your dreams I'm always there,
you holding me tight.
