I let you go/ you let me go....poem

I let you go through
my fingers as you slowly
went away without a notice in
the world,
never knowing that i was the
one who truly made you happy
but you slipped away so easily.
My pain on my sleeve i walk around with ease as you slowly got farther away,
each pain only a state of mind
every piece of armor that fills my arms,
every comment addressed as a sort of punishment fot what I did to you or the pain i've put you through or the endlesss love affairs that you drew in my mind as you safetly went through my fingers, you went so far as
to keep as far away as possible, you let me fall into your trap,
you let me fall through your fingers to protect who you were, the true heartbreaker that you were,
the evil one that everyone hates,
you have me trapped,
you possess my heart.

   I couldn't agree more I feel the same way right now in my relationship!!!!
